As part of the GLOW festival in Eindhoven, Kas van Vliet presents his installation NEO EHV, consisting of photography and a soundscape.

"As day turns into night, and lanterns illuminate our streets, our cities seem less gentle, as if from another land. The photographic series 'NEO EHV' is a search for a possible future of Eindhoven. How can the same collection of bricks suddenly feel desolate or even hostile? All elements used in this collage series are real locations, objects, and moments photographed in modern Eindhoven. From oil stains to shooting stars and flying cars.”

Kas van Vliet (1994) studied at the School for Journalism Utrecht and is a self-taught photographer. After a career in journalism and nightlife-photography, Kas shifted his focus to personal work and discovering what else the medium of photography has to offer.
