‘Boek’presentatie - Monique Hendriks e.a.

In dit vervolg op Retrospectieven wordt de ‘lezer’ meegenomen in een literaire escape room, waar de tijd vertraagt en alles groter lijkt.

Vlak naast het bureau, op de grond, ligt een verloopstukje. Het is blijkbaar niet meer nodig. Ik raap het op en stop het in een doos met onnodige verloopjes, bedenk me daarna pas, dat het een aanwijzing had kunnen zijn mijn kans om uit deze kamer te ontsnappen.

Deel 2 van de ‘bundel’ Retrospectieven kan worden aangeschaft als losse schijf met of zonder een ouderwets View-Master apparaat. De teksten van deel 2 zijn net als van deel 1  van Monique Hendriks en de beelden van Bas Berends en Lilia Scheerder.

Over de makers:

Monique Hendriks (1984) is dichter, won het Nederlands kampioenschap Poetry Slam 2021 en de El Hizjra literatuurprijs 2021. Bas Berends (1977) is fotograaf en creëerde in samenwerking met kunstenaar Lilia Scheerder (1986) een miniatuurwereld waar je door de View-Master bril ingezogen wordt.

De makers zullen kort wat vertellen over het maakproces. Daarna willen zij de bezoekers vragen om hun favoriete fantasie-verhaaltje te delen (op vrijwillige basis). Dat kan een verhaaltje zijn uit je jeugd, of eentje die je onlangs nog bent tegengekomen. Een verhaal voor volwassenen, of voor kinderen, of voor alle leeftijden. Iets wat je zelf verzonnen hebt, of een verhaal dat door iemand anders verzonnen is. Als het maar een verhaal is dat je fantasie heeft geprikkeld. Als je een verhaal hebt dat je wilt delen, vragen we je om dat van te voren even te melden, via info@monique-hendriks.nl. Uiteraard mag je ook gewoon lekker komen luisteren naar de verhalen van anderen.

3D poetry collection Retrospectives part 2: The fourth dimension

The fourth dimension is the sequel to part 1 of the 3D retro poetry collection Retrospectives, which was published in 2022.

In this sequel to Retrospectives, the 'reader' is taken into a literary escape room, where time slows down and everything seems bigger.

Right next to the desk, on the floor, is an adapter.

Apparently it is no longer necessary. I pick it up

and put it in a box with unnecessary reducers,

Only then do I realize that it could have been a clue

my chance to escape from this room.

Part 2 of the Retrospectives 'bundle' can be purchased as a separate disc with or without an old-fashioned View-Master device. The texts of part 2 are, just like part 1, by Monique Hendriks and the images are by Bas Berends and Lilia Scheerder.

About the makers:

Monique Hendriks (1984) is a poet, won the Dutch Poetry Slam 2021 championship and the 2021 El Hizjra literature prize. Bas Berends (1977) is a photographer and, in collaboration with artist Lilia Scheerder (1986), created a miniature world into which you are sucked in by the View-Master glasses.

The makers will briefly talk about the making process. They then want to ask visitors to share their favorite fantasy story (on a voluntary basis). This could be a story from your childhood, or one you have recently come across. A story for adults, or for children, or for all ages. Something you made up yourself, or a story made up by someone else. As long as it's a story that has stimulated your imagination. If you have a story that you would like to share, we ask you to let us know in advance via info@monique-hendriks.nl. Of course you can also just come and listen to the stories of others.
