WORKSHOP CYANOTYPIE

Afdrukken maken door de simpele werking van (dag)licht, dat is wat we doen in de workshop Cyanotypie. De Cyanotypie, ook wel blauwdruk genaamd, werd in 1842 ontdekt door John Herschel en Anna Atkins en is een van de oudste fotografische technieken. De techniek wordt tegenwoordig weer vaak toegepast door beeldend kunstenaars. Er is geen camera nodig. Afdrukken worden gemaakt op lichtgevoelig gemaakt papier of textiel. 

Voor het maken van afdrukken kun je negatieven of transparante sheets gebruiken, maar ook veertjes, bladeren, takjes en allerlei voorwerpen. Neem zelf wat materialen mee waarmee je een afdruk wilt maken. Wij zorgen voor de rest.  

Voor wie: De workshop is voor beginners en gevorderden. 

Toelichting: De expositie die op dat moment bij Pennings Foundation is te zien kan een bron van inspiratie zijn voor Cyanotypie experimenten. Dit mag maar hoeft niet. 

Prijs: € 37,50  per persoon. Inclusief koffie/thee en iets lekkers. 

Tijd: 10.00 uur tot 13.00 uur. 

Aanmelden: Deze workshop gaat door bij minimaal 10 personen. Maximaal aantal deelnemers 15. Bij te weinig deelnemers ontvang je je geld terug. Aanmelden is mogelijk tot 24 maart 2025.

Making prints by the simple action of (day)light, that is what we do in the Cyanotype workshop. The Cyanotype, also called blueprint, was discovered in 1842 by John Herschel and Anna Atkins and is one of the oldest photographic techniques. The technique is often used again by visual artists these days. No camera is needed. Prints are made on light-sensitive paper or textile. 

To make prints you can use negatives or transparent sheets, but also feathers, leaves, twigs and all kinds of objects. Bring some materials with you that you want to make a print with. We will take care of the rest. 

For whom: The workshop is for beginners and advanced. 

Explanation: The exhibition that is currently on show at Pennings Foundation may be your inspiration for Cyanotype experiments. This is potential but not required. 

Price: € 37.50 per person. Including coffee/tea and some sweets. 

Time: 10:00 to 13:00 

Registration: This workshop will take place with a minimum of 10 participants. Maximum number of participants 15. If there are too few participants, you will receive your money back. Registration is possible until March 24, 2025.
